Tracks from Kakashi and Utakata no Hibi feature in Tokyo Dreaming
イギリスBBCラジオDJ、ニック・ラスコム氏が1970年代後半から80年代の東京に焦点を当てたコンピレーション・アルバム『Tokyo Dreaming』を発表。清水ソロアルバム『案山子』から「セミ取りの日」、マライア『うたかたの日々』から「心臓の扉」が収録されました。
ラスコム氏いわく「高度経済成長からバブル期の日本の音楽の面白さは、当時世界の先端を走っていたテクノロジーと録音技術に支えられた実験性と斬新なアイデアがジャズやポップスに取り入れられていて、今聴いてもなお未来を感じさせるところにある」と。
