Yasuaki Shimizu and composer/multi-instrumentalist Kara-Lis Coverdale present Wood Fathers, their remote collaboration for the Rewire 2021 online festival, from 6 May. In this piece, they explore the phenomena of trans-genealogical continuity, the harmonic potentials of call and response, and sound as an extension of self.
