日本初展示！藤幡正樹氏とのコラボレーション作品「Voices of Aliveness」恵比寿映像祭にて2月4日から開催
清水靖晃がサウンド・デザインを担当した、インスタレーション「Voices of Aliveness」(2012制作) が第14回恵比寿映画祭にて公開されます。
この作品は、メディア・アーティスト藤幡正樹氏が1992年から取り組み続けてきた「Field-works」プロジェクトの一つです。本作では「叫び」をテーマに、フランス、ナント市郊外の公園にて現地の人々を招き、自転車に取り付けたGPS付きの記録機器で絶叫をモールス信号のリズムで録音しました。動画映像に刻まれた場所と叫びが3D空間としてアーカイブに浮かび上がります。
デジタル芸術の世界的祭典「プリ・アルス・エレクトロニカ2013」でインタラクティブアート部門優秀賞を受賞した作品です。この機会にぜひご来場ください。
Japan premiere! The installation "Voices of Aliveness" (2012), with sound design by Yasuaki Shimizu, will be exhibited at this year’s Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions, opening Friday, February 4. One of media artist Masaki Fujihata’s "Field-works" series of GPS-based projects, the trajectories and screams – recorded by Shimizu in Morse code - of people on bicycles shouting in a park in Nantes, France, transform into a continuously mounting swirl in 3D space.
