YASUAKI SHIMIZU

On June 16, an interview with Yasuaki Shimizu conducted by Charlotte K aired on San Francisco’s public radio station KALW.
The interview was recorded locally in advance of Shimizu’s March 31 performance in San Francisco.

In the interview, Shimizu speaks in depth about his work as a composer and saxophonist, as well as his unique approach to the music of Bach.
