架空の名門大学を舞台に、現代社会を風刺した棘のあるブラックコメディーのストーリーはもちろんのこと、大きな話題となった NHK土曜ドラマ『今ここにある危機とぼくの好感度について』（4月〜5月放送）のサウンドトラック・アルバム。
次々と不祥事や問題が持ちがる大学内、右往左往する登場人物たちを天空から見守るような存在で流れていた話題曲。J.S. バ ッハの「Sleepers Awake」(「目覚めよと呼ぶ声あり」という邦題でも知られています) と、同曲にオリジナルの英語詞を載せてバッハの現代版として編曲演奏した「Sleepers Awake Now」も収録。
清水は「所々にバッハの変奏を盛り込んで、ふっとその質感がドラマ全体に浮遊するように作曲しました。今回のサウンドトラ ックは“静”と“動”が激しく移り変わります。」とコメントしている。

A stinging black comedy set at a purported top-flight Japanese university, NHK’s Ima Koko in Aru Kiki... aired in spring as a five-part series satirizing the paradoxes of the academic sociosphere.
Accompanying scandal after thorny scandal, soundtrack gems include Bach’s “Sleepers Awake” on solo piano and contempo arrangement of that same piece complete with original English lyrics, “Sleepers Awake Now.”
Shimizu explains, "Peppering it with the Bach arrangements, I floated that texture throughout the drama, composing a soundtrack in which ‘static’ and ‘dynamic’ shift dramatically."
